I also removed the the kickstand for easier installation and when I reinstalled the kickstand I had no clearance problems like the poster of the guide but I am not sure why.
The shock I got had the short hose for the reservoir, after tossing the idea of welding a bracket on the subframe because of being to labor intense.
I came up with the idea of using electrical EMT pipe.
First I thought I would do it like this.
I used my spare subframe for easier scribing, my plan was to rivet the right side from the inside in the rail.
While I worked on that I came up with this idea.
That should work the best because it does not require any modifications to the subframe. Here is the final painted bracket.
